Elite Decofe designs interiors for people who intend to live in them for twenty years. That intention changes every decision we make — which materials we specify, which projects we accept, and how many of them we take on at once.
Elite Decofe began in 2013 with a single conviction: that luxury is not an accumulation of expensive objects, but the absence of anything unconsidered. Twelve years and two hundred and fifty projects later, that conviction has only sharpened.
Our forty designers, drafters and project managers work from one studio in Bandra. We keep detailing, procurement and site supervision in-house because the gap between a drawing and a built room is where most interiors quietly fail.
We take on roughly twenty projects a year. Not because we cannot take more, but because the principal visits every site, every week, and there are only so many weeks.
We do not use finishes that pretend to be other materials. If it looks like stone, it is stone. If the budget cannot carry stone, we design something else honestly rather than imitate it badly.
A shadow gap resolved properly is worth more than any amount of styling. We spend an unusual proportion of our hours on junctions, reveals and thresholds that most people will never consciously notice.
Detailing, procurement and site supervision stay inside the studio. The gap between a beautiful drawing and a built room is where most interiors quietly fail, and we refuse to outsource that gap.
We cap our intake deliberately. The principal visits every site every week, and there are only so many weeks in a year. Growth beyond that would cost the thing clients hire us for.
We have never used a freelance drafting pool or a third-party contractor. Everyone who touches your project is on our payroll and in our studio.
Every surface we specify is rendered here as it behaves in real light. Drag to rotate the sample; hover to warm the studio lighting.
Book-matched slabs with grey-gold veining. Honed to 400 grit so the surface reads soft rather than reflective.
They spent three weeks understanding how we live before showing a single drawing. That patience is visible in every room of this house.
Our headquarters had to feel serious without shouting. Elite Decofe understood the difference between luxury and noise immediately.
A 42-key hotel delivered on schedule, on budget, and with a soul. In hospitality, all three at once is genuinely rare.
We handed over a bare shell and travelled. Two hundred and eleven days later we walked into a finished home. Nothing was left for us to do.
As the project architect I have worked with many interior studios. Very few draw as precisely, or defend a detail as stubbornly, as this one.
The kitchen has been used every day for two years. It still looks and works exactly as it did on the first morning.
Tell us about the space, the people who will live in it, and when you would like to move in. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right studio for it.
